The 4-Day Business Coaching Intensive
The CPBC program is not a generic seminar. It is a rigorous, four-day training course designed specifically to transition seasoned leaders into world-class business coaches. Here is exactly what you will master.
Day 1 – Coaching Foundations & Frameworks
Master the core competencies required to transition from an executive or consultant into a world-class business coach. Day 1 establishes the PBCA Code of Ethics and dives deep into the Strategic Coaching Model. You will learn the critical “arrows in the quiver” of business coaching, focusing on active listening, Socratic questioning, and how to effectively facilitate transformational change without simply giving advice.
Day 2 – Proprietary Diagnostic Tools
Learn how to quickly uncover a company’s blind spots. Day 2 is completely dedicated to mastering our proprietary assessments: the Business Effectiveness Evaluation (BEE) and the Leadership Effectiveness Evaluation (LEE). You will learn how to analyze a business across 10 core areas—from Financial Management to Succession Planning—and roleplay live debriefs to help clients set their top priorities. We also cover the “Top 10 Coaching Pitfalls,” ensuring you avoid the mistakes most new coaches make.
Day 3 – Behavioral Styles & Sales Mastery
Day 3 merges human behavior with business growth. You will become trained in Extended DISC® behavioral analysis, learning how to identify client styles and adjust your communication to build immediate trust. In the afternoon, we tackle the business of coaching using the Client Builder Selling System. You will learn a proven, 7-step process to confidently sell your services, establish value-based pricing, and secure commitment without relying on manipulative tactics.
Day 4 – Practice Building & Your 90-Day Launch
The final day is focused entirely on launching and scaling your coaching firm. We cover the tactical elements of client setup, defining your target market, and developing core marketing strategies to build your sales funnel. You will culminate your training by building a concrete, measurable 90-Day Action Plan. You leave Day 4 fully equipped, certified, and ready to take your practice to the market.

Q: How long does the CPBC program take to complete?
The core certification is an intensive 4-day course, with sessions lasting 6-8 hours each day. We intentionally condense this training to respect your schedule, and we host these cohorts four times a year.
Q: Are there any prerequisites to join?
Yes. PBCA Canada is an association built for seasoned professionals, not beginners. We require all applicants to have a proven track record of real-world business ownership, executive leadership, or senior consulting experience. This ensures the caliber of our peer network remains exceptionally high.
Q: Can I complete the program remotely?
Yes. Because our association consists of executives and business owners located all across Canada, our 4-day intensive certification is delivered entirely in a highly interactive, remote format. All ongoing training and peer masterminds are also conducted virtually to respect your schedule. The only exception is our highly anticipated annual PBCA conference, where our members gather in person to network and collaborate.
